Actual Flowers - from Origin to Promotion

Actual flowers (perennials, alpine rock garden, and wild flowers) are the main ingredients for these unusual products. We focus our collecting on the earliest blossoms from our gardens, woods and meadows. Gathering of the flowers is done in midmorning or late afternoon to avoid the heat and direct sun of midday.

Without delay the flowers are transported to the storage green house for pressing and drying. We use a unique pressing/blotting mechanism, which allows the flowers to dry quickly and remain flat. This method is key to maintaining the brilliant hues of each and every flower, fern, and blossom. Pressing and drying time may take anywhere from three days to two weeks, depending on the species of the flower.

When completely dry, the flowers are sorted by color and/or species, labeled, and stored in huge temperature and humidity controlled drawers. Low humidity and even temperature are key to retaining color until time of production.

Once the order is received and the logo art is approved, production begins. The printed pieces are readied for lamination and appropriate flowers are selected from our inventory. Each item is hand made in our environmentally controlled greenhouses to not only provide you with a product which is professional in appearance, but is artistically pleasing. Our varied laminating equipment allows us to apply the perfect temperature and pressure to the each product. This is extremely important because of the fragile beauty of the flowers.

After lamination specially trained personnel inspect each piece individually. We are proud of each item that leaves our greenhouse, and we know that you will be pleased to provide Actual Flowers for your event.
